Privacy policy

This policy describes how Aquaponeasy France collects and processes the personal data of visitors to this site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Data controller

Aquaponeasy France, a société par actions simplifiée (SAS, French simplified joint-stock company) whose registered office is at 14 rue du Hommel, 57600 Forbach, registered under number 981 599 996, is the data controller for the processing described below. Data collected

We only collect the data you send us voluntarily, mainly through the contact form:

• identity: last name, first name, and where applicable company and job title;
• contact details: email address, and telephone number if you provide one;
• the content of your message and any attachments;
• the profile you declare, for example investor, applicant, partner or customer.

No sensitive data within the meaning of the GDPR is requested. Please do not include any in your messages.

Investor relations

Sending the investment pack and arranging discussions. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures.

Job applications

Reviewing your speculative application or your application to a job advert. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures.

Site security

Preventing abuse and automated submissions. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Recipients

Your data is intended solely for authorised staff within Aquaponeasy, and for our technical processors acting on our instructions, in particular the site's host and the email delivery service. No data is sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention periods

• simple contact requests: three years from the last exchange;
• investor relations: five years from the last exchange, or the duration of the relationship if an investment is made;
• unsuccessful applications: two years from the last contact, unless you object.

Hosting and transfers outside the European Union

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company incorporated under United States law, on infrastructure located in the European Union. Data passing through this site is therefore stored and processed within the Union. As Vercel Inc. is established in the United States, access from that country remains theoretically possible in the course of maintenance. That transfer is governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and by Vercel's adherence to the transatlantic data protection framework.

Analytics

Subject to your consent, collected through the banner shown on your first visit, we use Google Analytics to measure traffic to the site. The data collected consists of browsing statistics with anonymised IP addresses, kept for thirteen months at most. It is not used for advertising purposes and is not combined with the data from your contact form. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie settings page.

Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification and erasure, a right to restriction of processing, a right to object and a right to data portability regarding your data, as well as the right to set instructions on what happens to it after your death. You can exercise these rights by writing to ulysse.hay@aquaponeasy.com or through the contact form. Proof of identity may be requested.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL, the French data protection authority), cnil.fr.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure, in particular the encryption of exchanges through the HTTPS protocol and the restriction of access to authorised staff only.
